Whatpay ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Whatpay is designed with privacy in mind. We collect and store the following information locally on your device:

• Subscription and Payment Data: Information about your subscriptions, EMIs, free trials, payment amounts, billing cycles, and payment dates that you manually enter into the app.
• User Name: The name you choose to display in the app (defaults to "My" if not set).
• No Account Information: Whatpay does not require account creation or login.

Data Storage

Data you enter in Whatpay is stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults and App Groups and is synchronized with your personal iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit by default. This data is:

• Stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account
• Not stored on our own servers
• Never shared with third parties
• Accessible only to you and the app's widget extension

Data Sharing

We do not collect, transmit, or share your data with any third parties for advertising purposes. Your data is stored on your device and synchronized with your personal iCloud account through CloudKit. Limited sharing required for core functionality is listed below:

• Widget Extension: Your subscription data is shared with the Whatpay widget extension through Apple's App Groups feature, allowing the widget to display your information. This sharing occurs entirely on your device.
• iCloud Sync: Your app data is synchronized with your personal iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit by default.
• In-App Purchases: Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Third-Party Services

Whatpay uses Apple services for iCloud sync (CloudKit) and in-app purchases (App Store/StoreKit). We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or ad tracking.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual subscriptions or all data at any time through the app. When you delete the app from your device, local data is removed. Synced iCloud data can also be managed in your Apple ID iCloud settings.

Children's Privacy

Whatpay is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
