Frequently asked questions
What format does the app export?
That’s My Font exports OpenType Font files with the .otf extension.
Do I need to complete every letter?
No. The app can export after you draw at least one character. Completing uppercase, lowercase, and numbers will make the font more useful in everyday text.
Can I use my finger instead of Apple Pencil?
Yes. Both finger input and Apple Pencil are supported.
Where is my work saved?
Your drawings and adjustments are saved locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.
How do I share an exported font?
Use the iPadOS share sheet after export. You can save the OTF file to Files or send it using an available sharing option such as AirDrop.
Why does my exported font look misaligned?
Return to Refine and adjust the character’s scale and vertical or horizontal position. Then preview the same word again before exporting.
